I love a good romance but they get boring. So add suspense and bad guys and the book comes to life.Cam is a great guy who in the previous book fell in love w a state trooper. She was moving up the ranks and didn't want a relationship to get in her way. She lost her husband years before and was raising her daughter alone. He goals was to provide a good life for her daughter. Being a female in law enforcement is harder then being a male so relationships were out of the question in her book.
Cam was brought in to investigate a missing girl, the police thought the girl ran away because the girl had previously ran, so the law was looking into it but it was a top priority. He also was fostering a child, the mother was arrested on drug charges and cps couldn't find a good foster home. Cam and his family became the child's foster family. Little did thy know that the child was fathered by a crazy violent drug, sex trafficker, who wanted to sell his child.
Cam's sister in law worked for the fbi before marrying into the family and had a run in w this man. He is very dangerous and most people who didn't do what he said died a terrible death!
Most read great book, I have read everything that this author had written and I haven't been disappointed! I don't normally give five stars so... Read and decide for yourself!

I really enjoyed this book by Alexa Grace and will order other of her books. Her characters are interesting and the writing is stays with the story and doesn't wander off like some books I've read where I start to wonder if another book was combined with the original.
Profile of Fear is #4 in the Profile series. There is a lot of story going on in this book and all the characters you know and love are here! It's amazing how one evil man can have effects on so many. This story is intense and the suspense of what will happen next has you on the edge of your seat and of course, you know Alexa gives us a bit of romance thrown in with the action. <3
I enjoyed this book very much. I just wonder why girls would throw caution to the wind and believe things a stranger might say to lure them into danger but guess if it works, people are going to continue doing the luring. Readers who enjoy thrills, suspense and fear of murder will enjoy all of Alexa Grace's writings. I rated this book 5 stars because it easily kept my interest, from start to finish, telling a good story.
Oh Alexa Grace! Please don't ever stop writing! I don't know if this was the end of this series, but if so I will have to re-read your books a lot! So in love with these characters! Deadly Offerings was my first romantic suspense book and it made me fall in love with the genre and Alexa Grace's books.
This book ties up some loose ends from the other stories, but adds a new twist with the human trafficking element. Couldn't read it fast enough to find out what happens!
I look forward to more of anything Alexa writes!
Great read, I've always enjoyed this series. I love the way Cameron was immediately attached to the little girl after he found her in a Meth house. The killer, AKA drug lord, and sperm donor was off the chain and mad crazy as all get out! This book didn't have enough romance between Cameron and Robynn, considering he's been chasing after since in the last book; it just took to long for the romance to get going and BAMB all of a sudden she's in love?! Anyways, it was still a lot of great action and madness, and I really enjoyed the book.
I love Ms. Grace's books and it seems as though each one gets better and better. This was truly a page turner from the beginning. The action was non-stop, the characters we know and love from previous books made more than an appearance, and the Chase brothers did their thing. The only regret I do have with this book is the lack of romance. What was built up in previous books fell flat here. I was looking forward to seeing Chase and Robyn get together and for most of the book, Robyn was still playing hard to get. Then you find why in a couple of sentences toward the end. Then in the next chapter she says she loves Chase. The suspense and action part of the story was extremely well developed and rated a 5. The romance and relationship part of the story for Chase and Robyn I would rate a 2. But I do consider this one of my favorites.
There were a few head scratching moments. I know this isn't the first book in the story arc but the character of Andrew something, the officer sitting with Hailey at the hospital, was awkward and forced. It also has no discernable purpose. When Cameron's sister in law, Carly, rushed out of the investigation room right past the main character and he just let it go despite the link between the death of the social worker, a sex trafficker, and Becca, I was left wondering what just happened. The love story was very weak. We never got to know Robynn at all. Oh and she had a daughter. Just thrown in. I felt like I read an incomplete story. A story written by two people and after chapter 4 the second author quit. Reworked, this wouldn't be bad, it has potential to be really good, but right now it's disjointed and weak.
